Jolly Old Saint Nicholas, lean your ear this way…. The Festival of Trees is heading our way! The beauty of having this event in the beautiful red barn at Sunset Farm, the incredible support of the community, the exceptional donation of trees, wreaths, and Holiday items that are laden with unique and thoughtful gifts, and an evening for families that will bring Santa down from the North Pole as they gather around the firepit with hot chocolate and refreshments….well, it is picture perfect and incredibly successful ~ all because of you!
The Holiday Season will be quickly upon us, as will the joy and stress it brings. The Festival of Trees Event truly can provide relief from that stress. The atmosphere, the possibility of winning an extraordinary tree that can offer gifts to others, the reunion of friends at the event and most especially, the glimmer in the eyes of the children who step into the most magical place, where the lights from every kind of Christmas Tree awaits them….and then Santa on a sleigh to greet them and hear their every wish! Of course, you will want to be a part of it all! The Festival is an excellent way to promote your business or organization. It can also be a way to remember loved ones when you miss them the most. The “Memory” trees contributed last year were wonderful tributes to extraordinary individuals who brought joy to so many and solace to those who visited the Festival. The uniqueness of each tree is inspirational and simply amazing.
Your generous donations make an incredible difference in the healthcare needs of those in our community, and that alone is an amazing gift. Please consider volunteering during the event and bringing a friend or two! It is truly a fantastic way to connect with folks you have missed seeing throughout the year while making new friends, too! Last year, the Festival was visited by folks from around the State of Maine, New England, and Canada!
Sunset Farm is located at 436 Foxcroft Road, less than three miles from downtown Houlton. The big red barn becomes a magical place, where sugar plums really do dance in your dreams!

SET UP DATES: NOVEMBER 8TH ~ NOVEMBER 13TH 9AM ~ 7PM

- OPEN TO THE PUBLIC:
DAILY, STARTING @ NOON, NOVEMBER, 14TH ~ Then, each day from 9 AM until 8 PM through NOVEMBER 23rd at 2 PM, the doors close and the winning tickets are drawn! - OPEN HOUSE:
FRIDAY EVENING, NOVEMBER 21st, 4PM ~ 8PM
SANTA WILL BE VISITING, REFRESHMENTS AND OUTDOOR FUN - DRAWING TREE TICKETS:
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23rd @ 2PM
Winners will be notified by telephone and encouraged to pick up their Trees by 9PM on the 23rd or until 4PM on Monday, the 24th.
