Center for Community Health Education

The Center for Community Health Education (CCHE) is a multifunctional facility located at Houlton Regional Hospital.   The CCHE is dedicated to providing comprehensive education programs that promote health and wellness in the Southern Aroostook communities.  From community health lectures and disease management courses to childbirth classes and support groups, the CCHE provides a wide range of health education and support programs.  Many community organizations utilize the CCHE for seminars and meetings. 

Some of our ongoing programs include: Diabetes Self-Management, American Red Cross Blood Drives, American Red Cross CPR Classes, Childbirth Education, various Support Groups and so much more.

CCHE has a maximum seating capacity of 120 people, our facility can be configured into 1, 2, or 3 rooms with audiovisual system available. The CCHE is available 7a.m until 9p.m., 7 days a week.

CCHE Catering Services (provided by Houlton Regional Hospital’s Dining Services) are available, although, outside catering is allowed.

We are restarting support group meetings. It’s great to have these groups back post COVID!!! The MS Support Group is starting soon. Contact: Amy Chambers 207-521-5020. It will meet the 2nd Tuesday, of each month from 1pm to 3pm.
