Houlton Regional Hospital Provider Listing (Billing)

Overview

Houlton Regional Hospital (HRH) provides medical care to patients using a variety of physicians and health care providers. Some may bill for their own professional services, even though they are providing them within the physical building of HRH. They do not follow the same financial assistance policy (FAP) as HRH. Please use the following list to assist you with understanding the bills you may receive for services.

Physicians or providers being billed by HRH and covered by our FAP:

  • All Emergency physicians, including locum services
  • All Radiology physicians, including remote or after hours services
  • All General Surgeons, including locum services, along with their outpatient services in the office of Aroostook County Surgical Associates
  • All Hospitalists
  • All CRNAs
  • EKG, Respiratory, and Pulmonary test interpretations
  • Cardiac interpretations (pacers, holters, stress tests)
  • All Rural Health Clinic (RHC) physicians – both Houlton Family Practice and Sigrid E Tompkins
  • Physician services in our Outpatient Specialty Clinics – exceptions noted below
  • All Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services
  • Services provided at HRH by Orthopedic Surgeon Dr John Gluscic

Physicians or providers being billed by HRH and covered by our FAP:

  • Dr Peter Keebler
  • Bardy Dx for extended cardiac monitoring
  • Aroostook Mental Health Services for consultations in the Emergency Department ▪ Aroostook Orthotics and Prosthetics
  • Northern Prosthetics and Orthotics
  • Dr David Weed through Northern Light A. R. Gould Hospital
  • Podiatry physician services performed in our Operating Room by Dr Jil Beaupain, d/b/a Penobscot Valley Foot & Ankle
  • Certain lab tests may get sent away for some testing we cannot do here. Bills may come to you from labs such as Dahl-Chase Pathology, Quest Diagnostics or Crescendo Bioscience.
